Boost Weight Loss - Keep A Food Diary

It’s been said that keeping a food diary is one of the things those who have been successful at weight loss do consistently. But I’ve always had trouble actually getting out a pen and paper and writing every single thing down. Besides, sometimes when you eat out, it’s hard to know the calories of what you’re consuming.
A great site I like to use to keep track of these things online, as well as weight, exercise and measurements, is Fitday. Fitday has a huge database of foods that you can search within to find exactly what you’ve eaten. It then gives you a breakdown of all the info for that item. It’s great to see where your calories are coming from at the end of the day.
Something else that’s helpful is seeing what you’ve eaten on days you’ve lost or gained weight. You can go back and look at what you were eating when you were successful….or not.
There are many of these sites out there, but Fitday is one of my favorites. Another favorite is NutriDiary - basically the same as Fitday, with the added bonus of an online community.
You can start tracking your food today, for free, at whichever site you choose. Go for it - it’s fun and it will help you lose weight.

(Neither Fitday, nor NutriDiary compensated me in any way for mentioning their sites. I just like ‘em!)
