Save Calories While Snacking!

To lose weight while keeping your metabolism running, many experts advise eating 6 small meals a day. While I admit I don’t do this - it doesn’t seem too practical - I do try to get in small snacks throughout the day.
It’s easy to overdo it on the snacks if you’re hungry - say 3:00 PM after your lunch has worn off and you’re waiting on dinner. However, I found a great way to minimize calories while still having a good snack is to eat sunflower seeds. I don’t mean the bald kind that have already been shelled, that you can end up eating handfuls of at a time, but the kind with the shells on.
By the time you’ve cracked your way through a decent-size handful of these (remove the shells first!), you will have only consumed about 130 calories. Plus, your hands will have been kept busy the whole time - so you won’t have an opportunity to overeat them.
My favorite are David sunflower seeds, which come in yummy flavors like barbecue. You can buy these online here.
