She’s Got Legs. Not Quite Sure How to Use Them Yet
Last week I wasn’t able to jump-rope much because of well…life but I got back on track over the weekend. So far, I’m down two more pounds. That makes six overall in about four weeks. Nothing major , I’m just plugging away at it. The really cool thing is that my legs are starting to look so much better. I don’t know if my extreme muscle mass in my legs when I was younger has anything to do with it but whenever I get out of shape my legs get “wrinkly”. It doesn’t really look like cellulite but they just look weird and not attractive. My legs used to be my crowning glory, I had those puppies out at every opportunity but not anymore. The most I will do is capris in the Summer.
Well so back to the topic this morning I was walking around in my pajama shorts and I passed the mirror and I could have sworn they looked almost… good. I could still see the “wrinkles” when I flexed hard but just standing still they looked okay. I then asked the hubs who is known to be brutally, almost painfully honest when it comes to these things said, “yeah they do look better.” Score. I guess I wasn’t anticipating seeing results in my legs so soon. I thought I might need to lose the weight first before I would be able to tone but they are going hand in hand. I’m pumped about this. I added some reverse push-ups to my cool down routine this week so I’m keeping an eye on the arms too.You might even see me in a skirt and a tank top come Summer. Maybe. We’ll see.

this post really makes me want to start jump roping. did you have just a regular old rope? how much room do you need? i could do it in the parking lot of my building i guess; if i tried to jump rope in my studio, id knock everything down!
way to go! keep it up!
