“Skinny Water” Now Available

by Claire on June 18th, 2007

A company called Skinny Nutritional Corp. has come out with a drink they call “Skinny Water.” It’s a flavored water that contains garcinia cambogia and chromium - which they call “Super Citrimax and ChromeMate” (cutesy, huh?). These two ingredients are supposed to help you suppress your appetite and lose 3 times the weight you would from diet and exercise alone.
My question is, if you dieted properly in the first place, would reducing your appetite matter in weight loss? I guess people would be more likely to actually stick to a diet with some appetite reduction.
As for the ingredients, “Super Citrimax” is what’s in Hydroxycut (and we know that doesn’t work) and “ChromeMate” (or chromium), has never been proven to be effective in weight loss. In fact, you have to watch how much you get in case of toxicity. I hope that they realized this when making this water.
Sounds pretty ridiculous to me. Just drinking 8 glasses of regular water a day will help prepare your liver to flush out fat, and keep toxins from building up. Much more effective (and cheaper). But hey, that’s just me!
Skinny Water is available in six-packs in either lemon or raspberry flavors. Look for it at Super Target.

I have to agree with you on this one. If I can’t pronounce the ingredients, I start to get nervous. Water I understand. :)

Skinny water. I don’t know how you can have skinnier water than natural water. Water already has no calories. I agree, if you drink plenty of water it will help curb your appetite naturally, plus it’s good for you.
