Slimming Creams - Do They Work?

Ah, America - the nation that clamors for a quick fix. We don’t want to wait patiently for our results, no matter what they might be - we want them now. In this spirit, various companies have been making a lot of money off of us in the form of cellulite, or slimming creams and gels.
Although I couldn’t give you the specifics of how they work, they are supposed to firm skin and reduce the appearance of cellulite. Some - such as Clarins Total Body Lift, claim to help you lose an inch all over. The products that contain caffeine and other stimulants help drive the water out of the area you put them on, creating a slimmer appearance.
Obviously none of them actually “burn” fat or permanently mask cellulite. Indeed, the catch is that you will only appear firmer and smoother as long as you keep using the product. This has been a deterrent to me in the past - however, I’ve found a few products that go the distance.
Some of these include Caudalie Contouring Concentrate, Benefit’s Jiggle Gel, and Loreal Anti-Cellulite Body Gel. Stay tuned for reviews of these products in the near future.
Also, a couple I’d like to try include the aforementioned Total Body Lift and Borba’s Firming Fiber Knit Body Contour.
Let me know in the comments if you’ve tried any of the products I mentioned - or other similar ones!
