South Beach Check-in: Week One
Hey everyone, sorry I’m late with my South Beach check-in this week. I had a good week overall and only cheated once with a strawberry smoothie (it had fruit, turbinado and honey in it so it was not allowed). I have not lost any weight so far, but my jeans are fitting looser so I’m hopeful.
I missed yoga both times this past week so that may be why I didn’t see a change on the scale. However, I am going to concentrate on how my clothes fit and see what happens.
I’ve had some great salads and such this week. I also made a pan of bread with Northern (white) beans as the base and spice flavored sugar-free sweetener. I’ll post the recipe to that soon - it was very good, although you do have to wait for it to cool for at least an hour before it’s decent to eat.
Overall, I’m optimistic and am going to try to have a clean week.
