Burning The Scale

Stay Away Germs

by noelboehm on May 27th, 2008

I’ve currently pulled myself out of the Shred Challenge so I can focus on breathing and sitting upright. I don’t know what day we’re on at all so you will have to catch me up when I’m feeling better. It’s not all bad though. Since I have been only semi-conscious and haven’t felt much like eating, I am down almost five pounds. I would have loved to achieve it without the body chills and phlegm. I hope to be back up and running by the end of the week however. Literally. I’m dying to take our new jogging stroller out for a jog.

So since I’m out of commission I thought I would do a wishful thinking post. We’re going to Florida in July which mean I will have to pony up and wear a bathing suit. I want to know what everyone else does when they have to go to the beach or pool. Where do you get your suits and what style or styles make you feel the most comfortable? As far as I’m concerned, it’s all about what makes you feel the most comfortable in your skin, right? I don’t do bikinis, never have and never will. Not even when I was a taut young thang. I am leaning towards some tankini styles so let’s vote shall we. Oh and please tell me where you like to go to get great bathing suits in every size and style.

I’m really feeling this one from Nordstrom as it’s sexy but still very covered up. I could slip a little sarong on over the bottoms and this would be perfectly acceptable to walk around with the kids around the pool. Victoria’s Secret also has some very cute cover-ups that are free flowing but still young and flirty. What say you? Do you like? Is this a goal worth working for?
