An article at MSNBC made my head spin - Could there be some health benefits to being slightly heavy, i.e. around 25 pounds overweight? New Eating Disorder?

A researcher in Iowa is studying an often-missed eating disorder similar to bulimia called purging disorder.
Sufferers often purge, or make themselves sick, after eating small to normal amounts of food. That’s different from bulimia in that bulimics usual binge on hundreds to thousands of calories before purging. The sufferers are also of normal weight.
