Why Exercising Can Save You Cash
I love playing these games, where I try to connect two things together that might not normally mesh too well. How could exercising save me some cash? Isn’t it expensive to go to the gym? Check out my reasons why I’m really starting to enjoy exercising and saving, too!
* I can replace exercise with other, more expensive hobbies. Instead of going to the movies on a Sunday or going out to eat, I’m a lot more likely to go out for a cool hike somewhere or challenge by nieces and nephews to a game of badminton. As you exercise more and more, you’re just more likely to do fun and naturally less expensive things!
* I eat less. It’s a real money-saver not to be buying tons of sweet and salty snacks. One of my favorite things are homemade pies. . . and they definitely don’t come cheap. When I buy less, I spend less.
* I pay more attention to quality clothes. Do you know when your weight fluctuates all the time and you always buy cheapo stuff to cover your range of sizes? Now that we’ve managed to keep our weight a little steadier, we can buy quality items that last a few years.
* I drink less soda and more water. That’s a saving of at least $10 per week.
* I spend less time driving around on my free time. I used to love taking drives in the country. Now I go on mini-trips on foot through the neighborhood or on woodland trails and save a ton of gas.
I know that I could come up with plenty of other ways that I save a lot by being healthier, but I know that these methods are my major money-savers. What about you?
